The 2024 Olympic Games Opening Ceremony is set to take place in Paris' Seine River on July 26, 2024, at 7:30 pm local Paris time.
For Australian viewers, the Opening Ceremony is scheduled to begin early on Saturday morning, July 27, 2024, at 3:30 am AEST.

When is the Paris 2024 Closing Ceremony?
The Olympic Games will come to a close at the Stade de France stadium on August 11, 2024, at 8:00 pm local Paris time.
For Australian viewers, one final early morning will conclude the Games as the Closing Ceremony is scheduled to begin on Monday, August 12, 2024, at 4:00 am AEST.

Following the excitement of the Olympics, the Paralympic Games will run from August 28 to September 8, 2024.
