Looking at the wild boar by the shore, Lin Hao felt a bit eager to try his luck.

Many small animals around seemed to be frightened and scattered like birds and beasts.
“Damn, my horn is stuck!”
Lin Hao immediately noticed that his horn was stuck in the wild boar’s skull!
He wriggled his body continuously and, after a while, finally managed to pull the horn out.
“If only I could grow limbs.”
Lin Hao couldn’t help but lament.

Meanwhile, at the Longyin Research Center, government officials and HXLZ personnel were holding a meeting.
The creature had killed people in the city, causing widespread panic.
The government was under significant pressure to resolve this case quickly.
“We’ve pinpointed its hiding spot.”
“We’ll conduct a raid here, and it won’t be able to escape.”
A young HXLZ man stood up, connected his laptop to a projector, and displayed a map for everyone to see.
On the map of Longyin City, a red circle marked the creature’s location.
“We need to resolve this quickly,” said the government official in charge, feeling the weight of the situation. Longyin City had a large population, and if the creature continued its indiscriminate attacks, the consequences would be dire.
“We’ll stake our lives on dealing with it,” the young man from HXLZ replied seriously.
“Good. Thank you for your efforts,” the officials nodded.
“We have some new information. Today, someone found the remains of such a creature in Hanshui River.”
A government official brought out a laptop, connected it to the projector, and displayed a photo.
The high-resolution image showed a fish skeleton.
“The skeleton is very complete and unlike typical fish bones. It has large, sturdy bones and very sharp teeth,” explained the official.
“Hanshui River is a freshwater river. How could it contain such a large fish?” a middle-aged man frowned.
Although there were large fish in freshwater rivers, Hanshui River was mainly home to grass carp and crucian carp, making it unlikely for such a large fish to survive there.
“The river is mainly inhabited by grass carp and crucian carp. This fish is not native to Hanshui River,” said Luo Xue, who was sitting in the front row, examining the photo. “Judging by the bone structure, it appears to be a mutated fish infected by a virus.”
“Another mutated creature!?” The mention of mutated creatures made everyone uneasy. There had been too many such incidents lately.
“Yes,” Luo Xue continued. “Based on the skeletal outline, I believe it’s a catfish. It seems another mutated creature in Hanshui River ate this catfish.”
His words caused even more concern among the government officials. This meant there was another living mutated creature in Hanshui River!
